Workshop FAQ’s

Workshop FAQs: Your Questions Answered

How much does a workshop cost?
Your price for a Mindsteps Workshop depends on the scope of your program— we develop a customized program based on your school or district’s specific challenges and budget. Regardless of the focus or scope of the workshop we devise for you, we want you to feel confident in your investment and focus on content rather than cost. That’s why our workshops are always quoted as a flat rate rather than as an hourly fee.

We take the time to understand your specific pain points, staff challenges and district mandates. This conversation is always free. From there, we develop a written proposal outlining several investment options. There’s no risk, no cost and no commitment to see if we can help address your challenges, so why not schedule a call to tell us about your school?

What’s included with a Mindsteps workshop?
Our prices are all-inclusive— there are no hidden costs. All workshop materials, planning sessions and travel are included in your investment.

Is there a workshop capacity limit or minimum requirement?
Mindsteps recommends no more than 150 educators in a workshop to maintain the interactive experience we provide. For groups larger than 150, we recommend considering a keynote presentation.

How far in advance do we need to book a workshop?
Workshops are typically booked a minimum of two months in advance of the presentation date.

After our initial conversation, we will send you a written proposal for your review with multiple investment options within 36 hours. From there, we work with you to detail a program, engage decision makers and finalize logistics. We are your partner on the program throughout the planning process so when the workshop day arrives, there are no surprises — only inspired, excited participants.

How do I book a workshop?
All our workshops start with a conversation to better understand your situation. Just give us a few details and we’ll set up a time to talk. From there, we provide a proposal and get a date on the calendar that works for you.

Are there supplemental resources available for post-workshop professional development?
We know mastery is a journey. We offer additional materials for both teachers and administrators that directly support our workshops and enable them to continue their learning. These materials are at an additional cost, however are NOT required. All sponsoring schools and districts, as well as participating teachers and administrators, are eligible for a discount on all Mindsteps products as part of an engagement with us.
